Credits list everyone who was involved in a song. The stores and the collecting societies need this information so that authors and contributors can be assigned correctly. That's why it has to be complete for every track before you can continue.
For each track, you need at least one name in every category:
- Composer
- Songwriter (plus role)
- Production / Engineer (plus role)
- Performer (plus role)
You can enter several people per category. It's best to use the full legal name. In the selection, you'll then see "Full Name (Artist Name)", and if the name matches a OneCrewRecords artist, it will be linked automatically.
If the credits are incomplete, the assistant shows you red notices directly below the fields, and "Next" stays locked.
