In the "Choose your stores" step, you select where your release should appear. With "Select all stores", you select all of them at once.
Under "Advanced Stores", you'll find additional services that your team unlocks individually:
- YouTube Content ID & Shorts: You earn money when your music is used in YouTube videos. The release is added to the Content ID database, and the ad revenue goes to you instead of the person who uploaded the video. To do this, you must hold the exclusive rights to all audio and video elements. Mashups, best-ofs, compilations, remixes of other people's works, cover songs, karaoke, meditation or nature sounds, and AI-generated content are excluded. Before submitting, you confirm the guidelines. Violations may result in your account being suspended.
- AI Platforms: An optional additional source of income by licensing your tracks to AI platforms. This is independent of your other stores.
- Beatport: Distribution to Beatport including label setup. If you don't have a Beatport label yet, one will be set up. You also decide how much each track should cost.
If an additional service isn't displayed in the wizard, it is currently not available.
